When I was trying to enjoy content from my Plex server I noticed that I was getting no audio from my EAC3 5.1 Audio codec files.
I was only getting no audio when I was using the Plex app on my Windows 11 computer, but when I used the app on my TV I could hear audio. Because I'm a multi-tasker I really wanted to get this to work on my PC.
I did quite a bit of search around and then got some good advice that you should download the Dolby Digital Plus Decoder for PC
Apparently, versions of Windows 11 do not come with the Dobly Digital codecs installed, so you have to install it yourself.
