One of the hardest parts of having a website with a blog (in particular a programming-based one) is slowly realizing that the value you've added is fading away.
In the past, working your way through blog posts and forum posts was how you eventually found an answer to the problem that you were facing.
I had originally made this site to be a tiny showcase of the projects that I've worked on, and to also have it be a place where I would post the solutions to things I've run into so that no one else would run into the same.
But now, it's just easier to ask AI for an answer for the answer - sure, some of the more honest ones quote where they got their answers from - but overall, the original creator is washed from the results.
And it's not really about getting the credit that I care about; it feels like, why post if it's just going to get stolen/permanently borrowed?
So instead of having this be a programming site, I'm attempting to perhaps bring back a more personal blog of what I'm working on, instead of having it be a resource. I'm even thinking about probably getting into youtube as well to have some video content - at least that's a bit harder to steal.
